Self-Taught IB
Under the IB program, the choice of subjects is usually limited to those offered at your school. However, it is possible to study a subject not offered at a given IB school.
In this case, the student can take advantage of the self-taught option. As part of this, he/she prepares for the exam with the help of individual classes by a teacher of his/her choice (preferably with experience in working with IB) and the SSST supervisor appointed by the school. SSST supervisor does not have to speak the language you are learning, but is ther to provide the necessary support in the organization of lessons and submitting IA’s.
Our team has experience in conducting self-taught courses in Polish and German. We offer comprehensive assistance and support, including coordination of activities with your IB coordinator, regular progress reports on the basis of which predicted grades are issued.
The course includes four lessons per week, comprehensive support in selection books from reading list, writing IA’s and preparing for exams. Classes are conducted individually, online via the zoom platform.
Self-taught course offer:
- Polish A SL/HL
- German B ab initio/SL/HL
